It seems like lately all I hear is "What about me?",
generation this, generation that,
you've been sitting in your chair longer than me,
I'll be happy the day I'm free,
this whole parental thing has got you in a cage,
but when you get out you'll see it was just a stage,
that you were going through

it is two people so close they can't feel the other,
so, when you are crying, blaming, "what about me?",
just remember that they are thinking the same thing,
you want to grow up, go out, be like everyone,
but just cann't seem to get by day one, stuck on day one.
