Was it because I didn't say what I felt.
I felt the distance between us grow.
It didn't help when I called.
You and me?
Nothing at all.
For my Birthday all I wanted was a call.
Was it too much to ask to pick it up?
You gave me nothing at all.
Did I deserve your excuses?
Should I have bothered trying or should I have left it behind?
It seemed as though my caring did nothing but wear me out.
