Apathetic Eyes

Today, it is the the day
That I've decided to no longer care
Put on a callous stare
Let the emotion run right through my veins and out my eyes
Causing an apathetic stain

Tonight, it is the night
That I finally realized that my insides
There drowning in the lies
My empathy has again betrayed my mind
