A Battle Within

Take a deep look inside
Can't you see what I've become
They all change, while I stay the same, REMAIN
With the walls caving in I just shut my eyes and hide

I look back to yesterday

And all of a sudden things get so dense
Why does it's presence loom so immense
These invisible walls you know they keep me from the past
This confinement goes on and on
Until I break through these walls at last

Cope with this change
Fight the battle that makes perception so strange
And always I look to that time
I look to that day
