Ode Songtext

Paralyzed by life, his glands got black and mean -
So he changed his name and he changed his face
And dived into the Supreme.
He walked past atrophied victims with a never-fading grin...
It was all just a clotted climax of his celluloid dream.
Under the guise he thrived upon the seething hearts decaying alone
Groveling on the bended knees.
He watched and smiled, cloyed with their pleas
Still standing on the other bank.
We slobbered with putrid lust.
It was the blood that cut our way -
We drank, but never crossed.
