Betrayal

I am confused, and I am bruised
From being used for the longest time.
Never again I told myself
I won't be hurt like I was that day
It never ends I'm just a trend
I'm not a friend like you said I was
It's not fair, it never is
I wish for once it would go my way
I feel lost and double crossed
At any cost you'd want to see me fall
But I ask why? But to myself
There's no good answer I can think of
Left in the dark you left your mark
I'm just a spark to disappear so quickly
The only place for me is here
And here I'll stand on the bottom of things
It's funny when a good friend can turn their back so easily on you
And when their trust starts to rust you know that things will never be the same
I wish that I can go back to a time when our problems were so small
I guess I'm glad it's not so bad being betrayed by a once ally that you had.
