Underneath Charred Remains

I am mourning memories,
Once of joy, now of loss,
A silent blade pierces my heart,
I watch as the sun falls apart

The wind calls for me to flee, to forge a new destiny,
But I continue to crawl back to yesterday,
With broken dreams, and hollow hopes,
A life once full, now an empty void

Through a broken window, I watch paradise,
Trapped inside a faá§ade, living a desperate lie,
These chains that bind me leave a scar upon my soul,
But this battle is not over, nor is this war loss
I WILL BREAK FREE OF THESE CHAINS
