Six Months For A Sick Drunk

i didn't see my dad for six months before he died
so i smiled at the funeral while everyone else cried
it's not so much that i was glad that he was gone
just happy for him that he finally got to move on

i drank for six months before i crashed my car
but the night of the accident i was sober
the cd skipped when the car flipped
but it came right back on
and i climbed out my passenger window to a song.
