Serious, such a silly word
I'm serious, I much perfer the waves.
So I can catch a way from this place.

You lived it up don't ever say you did.
Had your fun don't tell the kids
Oh no, you lived a life that only you could know.

So take me down where the river flows.
Leave me there with just my clothes.
I need just a day to go.

I could follow you home.
Lay there all night.
I could leave it alone.
Let it pass by.
And never do anthing worthy to write
If I never strayed far from home.

Today's the day I felt a world of pain.
I am humble and betrayed.
Oh well, if you will think of nothing but your self.

Sitting down where the river flows.
In the same place I havee known.
Maybe I didn't go.

And I found my time to leave this place behind.
Need just one line, flying high or getting by.
So let's go, this could be the day.
