I Can't Grab Hold

It's said undone, what I've seen unfold. No turning back though I wish I could. So strange it seems how this came to be. It's like I'm reaching and can't grab hold.
So here we are, over and over again and every time I lose a bit more. Yet I return like an uninvited guest. It's like I'm reaching and can't grab hold.
