Persistance of Will

I am told that
I don't always take everything the right
I find that sad when
My goal in life has been to get these types of things straight

A moderator,
I've always prided myself to be
Can't even read him anymore
I bragged about it and now they're all watching

You know I get embarrassed
When I don't get things perfect
I am the kid who wouldn't raise her hand in class
I blame it on your parents
When we don't get things perfect
I am the one who's riding the fence again

I still say the day is not completely a loss
I didn't mean to be mean
I'll get off of my horse when you come down from your cross
It just comes naturally to me
