Wax Figures Songtext

All those great persons and geniuses
Who used to turn the wheel of history
Became wax figures
In the gallery of Madam Tussot
They all stand still in silence
Their faces are coloured with paint
But their souls are in utmost despair
And their heads are supported by spokes

Presidents and brilliant actors
Those who used to be famous
Omnipotent and powerful
Turned into speechless dolls
All the epochs and countries are mixed there
All the tyrants and fighters for freedom
Now they all stand like statues
Just to amuse people

They never feel sadness or anguish
They have no dreams of the future
But once taken outside and left in the sun
They would melt very quickly
All those great persons and geniuses
Who used to turn the wheel of history
Became wax figures...
And so did Madam Tussot!
