Golden Rules

No one cares and I can't seem to find myself. Everybody wants to put me back on the shelf and I don't know what's best for me.

Don't try to tell me that I've got no future. I've spent a lifetime living by your golden rules.

No one believes and I don't know my left from right. No direction and I've lost my will to fight. Who are you to put words in my mouth?

I've been a pawn just playing for your goals. And I can't seem to get it through my skull. Please, can you tell me why I feel this way? So I can come to terms with my life today.
