Moving Out

Leaving the house where I lived for 18 years
finally out on my own
About to face one of my biggest fears
Face the fact I'm fully grown

Thank you mom, for your help and support
thank you for helping me live
pulling me through this major effort
was the best you could ever give

Leaving my home to start a new life
to get my life back on the rail
it takes lots of courage to take this dive
I just hope I won't fail

I'll always remember the good times I had
I'll never forget about this
Happy I'm leaving, but also sad
Thinking of the things I will miss
