The World I Know Songtext
A tender stay for all who know
This weary way has none to go
The time is done and all your shame
Has been dissolved and all his blame
A tongue of red, a heart of old
With sweeter words and a bitter tone
You felled the start
The world I know
Your staggered mark on godly foe
Will seep away to the garden bed
And bear it's mark on a godly head
And cracks be laid
To a dry, dry ground
And waters save though none be found
And world may come to a broken end
By day or night my soul dear friend
Will keep away to grounds of white
And share the day
His Holy light
This weary way has none to go
The time is done and all your shame
Has been dissolved and all his blame
A tongue of red, a heart of old
With sweeter words and a bitter tone
You felled the start
The world I know
Your staggered mark on godly foe
Will seep away to the garden bed
And bear it's mark on a godly head
And cracks be laid
To a dry, dry ground
And waters save though none be found
And world may come to a broken end
By day or night my soul dear friend
Will keep away to grounds of white
And share the day
His Holy light
