For fourteen years I had a best friend black lab
Hoggin' up the bench in a crew cab
Head hangin' on a two lane breeze
Burnin' up tires just her and me
She went everywhere I went
Till our time was through
I said my goodbye, didn't know what to do

So I went fishin'

Talked to God there for an hour or two

By the time her plane was takin' off
