It's times like these I wish I could see through other people's eyes,
It's times like these I wish I could see,
See the sights of the wise.
And in these times when I feel so blind, not knowing what to do,
It's times like these I turn my eyes, turn my sights to you,
Turn my eyes for you are always true.
And if one day you should go away,
Leaving me confused,
I will always remember the look in your eyes,
That look you always had as you told me what to do.
And I will be thankful for the memories but more importantly for you.
I will be grateful for every moment you helped me,
For I know I did what you thought was true.
For that time as I looked at you,
As you showed me what to do,
I was looking through your eyes,
