All The Same

Have you felt that way? Felt like you left something behind?
I wanted to believe that it would always be that way
All these things have left me so confused
Like everything would not be fine
I wanted things to stay the same
But instead they all go away

Why did it have to end?
It seems like yesterday, I always thought it'd be that way

It's not a big surprise, I just had so much more to say

Will it work this time? Will I make it what I want?
I needed something else to make me realize it was fine
I just wish that I could slow it down
And realize what's going on?
I wish that things could stay the same
But instead they all go away

It was so long ago as I look back
All things fell in a perfect line
Nothing needed to be changed
But it is a force I can't deny

Those times I know are long gone
They are all left behind
I can't look back to what it was
All things have changed too much
