Down For The Last Time

there's no way i can smooth these folds out of my brain,
but i'm not going to let this petrify my frown.
i'm bleeding this blood of healing,
i'm down for the last time.
i'll not shed another drop over this.
all this seething is self-defeating,
and i'm getting sick of letting this control me.
