Moving Forward

Moving forward spending time on energy and sorrow
A false direction the wheel’s sitting inside and it spins around
Sometimes the things you’ve come to love get pushed away
I learned to love a certain sound and what it means to me
I know I can’t fix anything
I’d like to try but the sun burns everything
I saw the fliers and the memories
Images of youth and unity
And I know I sound crazy
Does this mean it wasn’t worth saving anyway
So save it anyway
It’s like the light switch turned off
And everything inside just fell apart
And I remember the first time I came back around
I had a fear someday this day would come
Now I’m stuck and I’m living in it right now
And I remember when those posters fell off the wall
I hate it
