Jeanice's Song Songtext

If I could have anything i'd want tomorrow
It's a treasure I long to find and borrow
I'd hide it forever till sin has a cure
To have and to hold something so pure

See, I have today but it needs forgiving
For the remorse I feel seems to keep on living
I must fill this void that makes me alone
Its backed with a conscience of a deafening tone

I can no longer complete my life telling lies
Realising they bring only temporary highs
I can't live a moment with a bad consequence
Repeating it over till my heart feels tense

Life is just better when I am asleep
Nothing gets hurt and nobody weeps
The problem is that I wake in sighs
Hoping that some of the Disappointment dies

The innocent travelling of a miss-guided soul
Leave a forgotten trust with a tainted hole
What once mended it doesn't work no more
Now a withered word said many times before

Evidently screaming for some kind of attention
I'm sadly deserving only shelved protection
But when I can admit that I have been wrong
I obtain the key that makes me feel strong

See, I have today but it needs forgiving
For the remorse I feel seems to keep on living
I must fill this void that makes me alone
Its backed with a conscience of a deafening tone

I'd want tomorrow if I knew I could keep
The promise that I would think before I leap
Think about the reckonings of today
So tomorrow turns out in a much better way

I can no longer complete my life telling lies
Realising they bring only temporary highs
I can't live a moment with a bad consequence
Repeating it over till my heart feels tense

Till my heart feels tense
Till my heart feels tense
Till my heart feels tense
Till my heart feels tense
