Focal Point Songtext

Two and one makes twenty-one years of living, laughing, learning from my mistakes I've lost in forgotten youth.
Reaching out but holding on. Contemplating what went wrong. Too busy all the time without a thing to do.

I can't sleep without you. I pick my heart up from the floor. No regrets to face so I lay my head to rest and
I keep you on my mind always.

Dreaming back to ancient times of laid-back grinds and no-complies.
Hills and Colonel White in the afternoon.

The hardest days have not come yet. The path leads on, but I won't forget.
Walking home at night, I passed the field of rocks and wondered why.
Writing in the sand. Baseball cards and catch with my old man. Light posts and my old friends.
This is not the beginning and this is not the end.
