The Suspend Songtext

From the first time I saw you I knew it was true
No static, turbulence, no curtain
Just you
You gave me the tools I’d need to use when you said “son, you must always stand in your truth”
Now I build myself up just to tear it all down just to start all again with the pieces I’ve found and with parts handed down I build as high as I can
Until I hit the sky, I won’t stop until then
And when I can’t climb anymore I will sit and admire the things that I’ve done and I’ll use that fire I have in my heart for those left behind to now climb on my back and go even higher
I’ll give I won’t lend. I won’t break but I’ll bend
I’ll move with the wind and I won’t fear the end because I won’t live forever but I will die tall
I see only one truth and that truth comes for us all. Until death relieves me, I’ll give until I’ve got nothing left
