Gladiolus

Come back,
and bring me those flowers I sent you--
sent you on your special day.
I cannot recall their name.

Fourteen petals
that's reaching for sunlight
and turns it all into green.
My favorite color, it seems.

Since then,
I have been trying
to find them--
in every market I see.
Nowhere they appear[s] to be.
