Every night I escape your eyes
To no avail or surprise
Every time you are mistaken
Shut your eyes and sleep forever

I can't say that I see us living on
For every breath is wasted upon you
Time stops, I feel weightless
A nightmare I see face to face

All hail the darkness
Only sleep can bring

All through the night I'm inspired
Of ways to kill off the bitter ends
