Eyeliner & Shattered Hopes

Her reflection staring back at her. The tears run down her rosy cheeks. Black and blue running down her face. Cleansing us of all our sins. Eyes weary of another day. Same blank faces, same damn fears. Always wondering what comes next. Same routine every single day and she says. I need something new. Same old faces, brand new tears. It doesn't help much when the difference between friend and foe just can't be told anymore. Another scar digging deeper into her. Her blade's her only friend, her pain's her only friend.
