I blurred out your eyes and made you a little short
cut away all your wires and made you seem less contrived
with a few blemishes on your cheek now you look much paler
with your lips thinned out you have rid of all your lies

you're hairs grown out
and you have more doubts
and I never see you around any more

I'm hoping it's how I can even the score

distance steps to distance it makes for better people
I've disfigured your image and I've been building my brick wall
it's a few layers thick now so you can't kick through it
pummeling it to the ground and leaving me with the ruins

and you don't know
with these months I've grown
