Summer In Hell

i was hoping to breath warm air. follow through on our dreams. sounds of friendship tearing down all the walls. when its always seemed like a myth. i can close my eyes, but i can't escape the fact that this is how our dream dies. when you wonder, what's wrong? what happened to the time of our lives? when did i grow so old? when did the fires go cold? i can find some comfort in the knowledge that i never gave in. 10 months was such a heart ache, 10 years and im still going strong. 10 years and still no one cares. a portrait. abandoned. get in the van! say it's over, but it's not, and the ending is always the same in my eyes.
