In Disguise Songtext

This is a shout-out to all of my good friends who never left me, who always stuck with me. Always to the end, always believing that I could change.
Yeah, I know I'm crazy. My memory evades me and I have made mistakes I will regret. Time is a thief that I know that I cannot ever catch.

Come on, listen to me!
Because these are the last words that you might hear.

If I should ever have the chance to die bury me in fire so I can watch above and smile, sheltered by the smoke. If the flames choose not to take me in, on account of where I've been, devour each and every sin (but do be quite discreet). In disguise.

I call up my mother, tell her I love her and say she is ten times more precious than gold. It makes me shudder to know like my mother I will grow old. My body is achy and sometimes betrays me. I'm growing colder as time passes by, but I just keep doing what I've been doing because that's my style.

Come on, listen to me!
Because these are the last words that you might hear.

If I should ever have the chance to die bury me in fire so I can watch above and smile, sheltered by the smoke. If the flames choose not to take me in, on account of where I've been, devour each and every sin (but do be quite discreet).

It's strange how life creeps up on you!
When there's still so much left to do!

Come on, listen to me!
Because I have nothing left to fear and these are the last words that you'll hear.

If I should ever have the chance to die bury me in fire so I can watch above and smile, sheltered by the smoke. If the flames choose not to take me in, on account of where I've been, devour each and every sin (but do be quite discreet). Hell Yes! In disguise!

Do it in disguise!
