Save The Planet

you always say save the planet, you really mean save yourself,
don't care about the environment, just your own predicament
as if the world would die, all we'll lose are human lives,
it will be our own fault, but the world will not hault
in the end we'll be dead other life exist instead,
hopefully they'll have a better fate we should learn before it's too late
life on earth will still persist whether or not we exist,
evolution will take its toll, self destruction is our goal
