With crafty words and innocence he slowly took me
questioning what i have always known
i bought the lie that seemed so good at the time
the moment i thought i was strong became my downfall

how long will we love delusion
the lord has set apart the godly for himself
not a word from their mouths can be trusted
the lord has heard my cry, for mercy

he said to me you are my son
today i have became your father
