Speak Out Songtext
Thinking back when it was young. And all the things that it has done. You got memories of better days. Haunt our minds, and make us look away. The hands of time have flown by. Values have changed and you don't know why. Wishing they would go back. It makes it seem that we have lost track. What has happened to all those days? The soapbox was like a fucking stage. Now we clam up, when we see wrong. Zip up our mouths and we go along. I'm sick and tired of all of this. Everywhere I look injustice! No one dares to speak out against. Do you think someone else will? I know you got a lot on your mind. So speak up man, its not a crime. Because you can make a fucking change. With a decision you make, change can start today. Instead of glancing over it. Take a second and say something. We were blessed with a voice and mind. We need to use it, stop acting blind. When we don't, speak out against. They form walls and they will cage us in. Don't frown on others who fucking try. Do one better and get behind. They built up the courage you speak. That's our groundwork, what we believe. If they never spoke out against. So many things may have not changed! They overcame so many trials. Never lived their lives in fucking denial. Injustice came and knocked on the door. They flexed their heads, and fucking used some words. A dumb flock of sheep is all I see. Standing around never helps someone plea. So stand up tall, and clean your throat. Shout out loud and let everyone know! Speak out!
