Demure strings
Will cry out
A deafened name

Crimson washes my mind
As each note
Begs to enter my ears

I can't stand to
Forget this face

This lay on hand
To my pestilent disorder
Fills the gash
Death carved into my mind

Forever forgotten tongues
Blinded by time
Nurse the unborn child
That I once knew

Dregs Chafe
An already festered sore
As tears sear
The balmy crust

That only the survivor knows
