Beauty Rest

I'm trying to be empathetic without sounding too dramatic
Yeah everybody's sad, we've heard it all before

All the days they keep on blending
Together cause I'm just spending
All my time alone, staring at my phone
Everybody knows, that's just how it goes

There are too many people out here I guess
Realizing their dreams on a daily basis
I hope we can all get some much needed beauty rest
Too many people trying their best

I'm feeling the summer heat weighing heavy on me
Can't even begin to see it's too humid
Nothing's in control, everybody knows
