Just Say When Songtext

If I swallow hard enough to forget about my pride, I'll walk around in passing, noticing my faults set against a blinding white backdrop. For all the steps I've made, I'd like a chance to wait and think about the next ones before I throw myself into the floor. I thought the pawns were on my side - I've had a hard enough time just taking all these thorns out of my eyes. Next time, I think I'll wait and then decide. I'd rather see you lie then see me believe the truth. I'm trying to show you I believe while I try to figure out just what that means.
