Hiding Place

words that we speak
it's like we were made from a stone where we say things
in hopes to break them all apart
friendships remain we just close our eyes and pretend it's the same
but we can't no matter how hard we try

this once was a hiding place where no one could find
its now where everyone shines

tied up in knots, the day we let go is the day we forgot
just what we all have become
