Everybody Needs A Prayer

While I'm driving down the highway going 95
And I see those red lights flash before my eyes
And I start to think, what if that were me?
Did I end up how I, how I wanted to be?

And now I stop, pulled on over
Brought my hands to my face
Then I started weeping
Thanking God for his grace
I take a minute,
Say a prayer for those lives at stake
And then I got in my car
And I drove away

I saw this happen on a Friday when the sun went down
I underestimated heartache, what a great letdown!
But one choice remained, one thing left to do
That's to get on both knees and pray you love them too
