why's it always end like this
you never seem to care
you were the rain in my desert
but now i'm feelin dry and bare
i coulda sworn that you had promised you'd always be there...
now in the end...
i see that you really never cared

and you've.. you've died on me

of all the times we've had and all that we sacrificed
you turn around and walk away
like there was nothing here you ever liked
if that's the way you feel
then i guess i'll have to let it be
but when you finally open your eyes
don't come crawling back to me

once we fall
