Don't forget about me Songtext

Don't Forget About Me (D. Brown)

Ann-Marie's got a pretty little house

And a calico kitten so there isn't a mouse

And a candle in the window

She doesn't light for anyone

She feels like a princess when she walks in the city

The boys come around and say she's so pretty

But when she looks into the mirror and sees her reflection

She's a lonely little girl she needs some protection

She says Hey

Don't forget about me

She's got a painting on the wall that was done by a friend

And a jar full of flowers that another one sent

And a bottle of wine

She doesn't pour for anyone

There's Polaroid pictures by the telephone

Such a cozy little life

In a cozy little home

But when she's laying in her bed

She stares at the ceiling

It's a long day ahead

But that's not what she's feeling

All the girls see the way that she is

they want to live the way that she lives

And all the boys try to win her

They don't see the loneliness that's in her

Ann-Marie has a pretty little house

And a calico kitten so there isn't a mouse

But when the candle in the window sees the light of flame

She'll pour another glass of wine she's lonely again

And saying Hey don't forget about me
