But we all got our dance steps down

About they're gonna leave this town

You can see it in our eyes

It even shows in the way we walk

Unsanctioned bones

Unsolicited skin

Token brains

That don't play to win

No matter how you add it up

No matter how you break it down

It's all talk



Left on its own

It'll redefine the same old thing

And what we find in the kitty

We can use for kindling

It bothers me more

Than you'll know

Nobody showed me

How it's supposed to go

And I don't think I'll ever get it
