The Blue Time

You come to me in the Blue Time
Between the night and the day
Always too soon for the sunrise
Always too late for a second chance

Between an old and a new time
Reaching out as you slip away
Into the dream that I'm losing
While I awaken into a trance

As it starts to rain
And blue turns indigo

We part again in the Blue Time
Bruising our hearts on the way
A dream fading back to the darkness
Leaving the echo of one last dance
