The Beginning

Stumbled into the place
Lost, forgotten
Everything was weary
Like heat without passion
Coincidentally broken, forever I thought
“Not so.” said someone
“We will leave, we will go.”
But has it begun
Like the first moment
Always begins?

Took a trip to the land
Nowhere to be found
I was not alone
I found someone there
A spirit, a guide
Of intense beauty
Miraculously conforming
With some kind of perfection
They speak of in old books
I shook the hand inside
And I was welcomed by
The beginning

“Come to me, come now
Leave what you had
Have no fear
Hear what I have to say!”
He said while turning the air
Like a wave turning, like a tide yearning
To spread its water
Upon the shore
Playing with the sand
Letting it compose a new picture
With every thought

Lightness of being
A fear of hate
Strength in seeing
The love me made
