January I declare, things are gonna change this year

I make my resolution to be free

February bitching on the valentines that didn't come

March was just a little out my league

And then April was just never meant to be



And it takes so long, and May went wrong and I was too tangled up to see

That it was too soon when I met June and she wasn't satisfied by me



If we feel love in the summer, does the winter take it away?

We're all gonna need someone beside us on New Years Day



And I never really thought that I would ever get home with July

August was too hot to ever trust

I left September in a mess

And used October I confess

And ended with November when she went cold

And December was always a little bit too old



And it takes so long and things go wrong and I'm getting older everyday

And it's too bad that I don't have another month to learn her name
