I wish my heart were harder
To save me from all your sticks and stones
I share my room with flowers
That bloom cos my window faces north

Whenever I get started
I'm told that I drag it on too long
It won't upset my feelings
To tell me you'd rather be alone

Does it get you down
That I live in town
Used to be so clear
