Dignified Response Songtext

Don't think for a second you can have it all.
I don't know why you bother trying. You get up on your pedestal,
the higher up you seem to get
the more you seem at ease.
But the growing distance you've slowly created brings you back to you knees.

The purpose to believe in what I set out a distant time before, (but I can't stay awake)
Proves what is set in front of me will never alter what is set in stone, (I don't have the need)
Once again you quickly fall and fade away And I can see right through you.

So don't ask me why I don't care. Even if you still did I would still say no to you
To your way of life. Real to me?
It's not even fair for all those who are around you!
Would your higher feeling amount to what most of us would envy,
Or would it be the same as us driving all night on our highway home

The purpose to believe in what I set out a distant time before,
Proves what is set in front of me will never alter what is set in stone,
Once again you quickly fall and fade away And I can see right through you

And I see right into your eyes, they'll prove to you,
you'll hunger for your abuses.
As you pretend to move adjacent to the move I make but I've moved into the next room.
My sound will never change

The purpose to believe in what I set out a distant time before,
Proves what is set in front of me will never alter what is set in stone,
Once again you quickly fall and fade away And I can see right through you

Your invisible
