Underneath the rocks the field mice hide,
pretty yellow ribbons with bombs inside.
Pet white elephant kept in the house.
You know he's afraid of mice.

Yellow balloons floating in the sky.
Someone's getting hungry,
as far as I can tell.
Ponder your reflection in the wishing well.

Throwing rocks at houses without ringing the bell.
Hoping for the pedestal from which you fell.
Yellow balloons floating in the sky,
and you know that I let go.
I wish that I could follow yellow balloons
into the sky..
