Kanariya (english) Songtext

Kanariya
written & composed by: JIRO
From My Hometown The wind runs to the south calmly
I'll probably never return, good bye, sweet days
The pains from love are sort of fond now
When we drink the whining will become just memories
If I call your name, you'll be at that spot smiling, crying
On night I feel like that, I close my eyes
We don't carry a gun, or the way to live, and went to the battle fields
The turning seasons will someday change us, paint us into sepia
From My Hometown It's been a while to see a letter from you
The warmth of the small hand... the photograph I hold
Without doubt we believed in "from now", with nothing to lose
The time of dreaming was countless Ah
We were confused with little things, that was everything those days
Where are the winds going, let's see each other again
Jumping off the rails once in a while and I want to drown in dreams,
now don't say that
Living like you, I envy that life style too
Working hard for someone else
...Oh Canary that's forgotten how to sing, where are we now?
The piano in the sea-side shop on the hillside with the brick road always soothed me...
I wonder if I can still hear it?
