We came in from our walk last night
We've never ever been afraid before
Somebody killed the power to the lights
The darkness and the shadows were
Close predators of this wisher
So turn around and get back to the house

You can't brave live concealed
Sometimes it feels like it's impossible

The lights upon the tree are sure
We've never ever had a fire before
The stories and the hymns have turned our ears
And through our Father who is near
We've never ever had to brave the sea
It's you and me and we are still learning
