Breathing

i fall down again
i'm still breathing, i'm still breathing

sometimes i loose my head
how simple indeed
just cover me in red
i'm so easy to read
a star that lives in the darkness
a grain of sand in the breeze

and i'm alone again with my philosophy
that all the years they fade into the scenery
and i still loose my self with curiosity
that every reason i uncover leads to more i'll never see

my eyes are open wide

sometimes i close my eyes
afraid of the night
only to find myself
in fear of the light
a lonely boy at the window
becomes a man in the rain

and i'm alone again with my philosophy
that all the tears they fade into the scenery
and i release myself from this hypocrisy
so i can paint my heart with shadows
light a fire in the sea

stars may disappear but i won't miss them
the wind may release my fears and i will kiss them
