Blue Monday how I hate blue Monday!
Gotta work like a slave all day.
Here comes Tuesday

I'm so tired I'm tryin' to play.
Here comes Wednesday
I'll be to myself
my girl calls, got to tell her that I'm out.
Then Thursday is a hard workin' day
and Friday I'm gonna get my pay.
Saturday morning

all my time has kept going away.
I got my money and my honey
and I'm gonna stay to play.
Sunday morning my head is bad.
Was it worth it for the time that I had?
But I got to get my rest
because Monday is a mess.
